Study at Spring Hill College

Spring Hill College, often referred to by the abbreviation of the name, SHC, is a coeducational, private, Roman Catholic Jesuit college located in Mobile, Alabama, United States. It was founded in 1830 by Michael Portier, the first Bishop of Mobile. The college has an urban campus, which stretches across approximately 400 acres of land and includes a, 18-hole golf course. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of communications/arts, social science, natural sciences, etc. The college also supports a program to allow students to study abroad, in countries like England, Ireland, Italy, France, Spain, or Mexico. The athletics teams of Spring Hill College are known as the Badgers. The official mascot of the college is the Badger. The students take part in a wide variety of intercollegiate sports including cross country, volleyball, tennis, basketball, softball, soccer and baseball. Students also take part in a number of intramural sports of their choice, such as, wallyball, sand volleyball, flag football, racquetball, tennis. They also organize and participate in card tournaments.
