Our vision is to build a powerful and artistic learning community for all students, with a content rich curriculum, utilizing the community as a laboratory and providing hands-on, experimental learning experiences that activate the imagination, stimulate critical and divergent thinking, and develop problem-solving skills. These methods are usually reserved for gifted and talented students. We believe in every student's natural desire and ability to learn, and desire for al our students to complete the dual academics and arts programs required for graduation from Arizona Conservatory for Arts and Academics.  The Accelerated Schools Project is based on the idea that school communities could improve the success of their students by working collaboratively to transform the classroom into powerful and interactive learning environments. This approach combines relevant curriculum diverse instruction techniques, and creative arts programs to accelerate the progress of all students. In these dynamic classroom environments, students and teachers are encouraged to think creatively and explore diverse interests, with the goal of achieving high academic and artistic standards. These standards apply to all students, regardless of their experiential background, capabilities, or developmental learning differences. . ArizonaConservatory for Arts and Academics  will seek out acknowledge, and build upon every student's natural curiosity, to construct knowledge through exploration, experiment and discovery, and establish strong connections between arts and academics. These essential experiences require collaborative thinking, complex reasoning, and analytical problem solving skills. The entire curriculum is enriched and emphasizes rigorous arts and academics as a collaborative experience in developing the whole student. Arizona Conservatory for Arts and Academics  will utilize three primary principles for the basis of developing curriculum, delivering instruction, and establishing governance. These principals are 1) Unity of purpose, set common goals that are the focal point of everyone's efforts; 2) Shared decision making and taking responsibility for decisions and results; 3) An instructional approach that utilizes different strengths and talents of administrators, teachers, students, and parents. These strengths include cultural diversity, artistic expression, applied creativity, and an interdisciplinary approach to curriculum. Arizona Conservatory for Arts and Academics  along with meeting the Arizona State Academic Standards has an underlying set of values that include equality, participation, communication, reflection, experimentation, trust and risk-taking. Students pursue an active role within the academics and arts community. We believe that a democratic and arts enriched education applies faith in potential of students to assume responsibility for their education, and shapes the world around them. The collaborative inquiry process serves as a model for the governance of our school as well as curricular, instructional and organizational practices.
