Situated in an 18, 000 square-foot facility featuring four classrooms, five kitchens, and a student-run restaurant, the Institute offers an accelerated 36-week curriculum as well as a nine week paid internship. Course Topics

Arizona Culinary Institute offers a diploma program in Culinary Arts, Baking, and Restaurant Management. The program can be completed in as little as nine months. Admission to the Arizona Culinary InstituteThe application process is very simple and easy to manage. Prospective students can submit their application online by clicking on the "Apply Online" tab at the school's website. The school will then notify the student of acceptance and forward an Enrolment packet. In addition to the application for admission, students also need to provide a $25 non-refundable application fee and proof of a High School Diploma or GED Equivalency. ACI has 8 start dates annually and each successful applicant will be scheduled to start on the date which is best for him/her. Arrangements must also be made to meet the tuition obligations. The school does participate in federal and other assistance programs so students who qualify may be able to receive aid. Faculty CredentialsArizona Culinary Institute is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). The faculty is comprised of a diverse and well-balanced team of Chef/Instructors who combine real world experience with a passion for teaching. Many students at the school attend to get the training to help launch their culinary careers. Others are looking to enhance their current careers while some are just looking to more formally pursue a personal interest. However, regardless of their motivation for enrolling, just about everyone has a common passion for culinary arts. Student Life at ACIThe ACI campus is located in a beautiful residential area in North Scottsdale and the school works with a local housing coordinator to coordinate the housing needs of students. The program consists of 6 months of classes, beginning with 6 weeks dedicated to learning the "basics", followed by a 3 month paid internship. Financial aid is available to those who qualify, and also available are internship placement and part-time job placement while attending school. While on campus, students wear a chef's uniform and are given several sets of uniforms as part of their tuition costs. These include chef's coats, checkered pants, cloth hats, aprons, neckerchiefs, and hand towels. du Jour RestaurantArizona Culinary Institute operates the du Jour Restaurant as both a fine dining venue and laboratory for its students. The student-run restaurant is open to the public for lunch on weekdays and is part of the culinary and restaurant management curriculum.
