About ASU Arizona

Arizona State University is one of the premier metropolitan public research universities in the nation. Enrolling more than 57, 000 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students on three campuses in metropolitan Phoenix, ASU maintains a tradition of academic excellence in core disciplines, and has become an important global center for innovative interdisciplinary teaching and research. ASU offers outstanding resources for study and research, including libraries and museums with important collections, studios and performing arts spaces for creative endeavor, and unsurpassed state-of-the-art scientific and technological laboratories and research facilities.

In addition to the historic main campus in Tempe, a college town in the midst of a dynamic metropolitan region, the university comprises two newer campuses with more specialized missions: ASU West, in northwest Phoenix adjacent to Glendale, and ASU East, a polytechnic campus, in Mesa. In downtown Phoenix, ASU's Extended Campus offers academic programs and professional certificate programs.

ASU has much to offer you, and we're sure you will value your time here as one of the most unique and important experiences of your life. ASU is the 3rd largest and one of the best universities in the country. It's location in Tempe, a lively university city that lies right next to the metropolis of Phoenix, is ideal both for living and traveling. Close by are the Grand Canyon, Mexico, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and San Francisco. United States Universities, Colleges and Schools While exchange programs focus on academic learning, our staff cares about making your experience at ASU enjoyable as well as educational. We offer placements in on-campus student dorms, an orientation your first week, assistance with registration, and activities throughout the year. Once you have been nominated by your university, our exchange student advisor will be available to answer all the questions you may have about studying at ASU. We will try to accommodate any special needs you may have to make your experience here as positive as possible. To participate in an exchange at ASU, you must be a student at one of our partner institutions. If you would like to come to ASU not just for an exchange, but to complete a degree, you should contact the ASU International Student Office . If you would like to come to ASU to study English, our American English and Culture Program has the perfect program for you.
