Claremont McKenna College is also known as CMC, and is located in Claremont, California. It is a private, liberal arts institute. The college was established in 1946 as the Claremont Men's College. It became coeducational in 1976. Claremont McKenna College offers a variety of programs with majors in subjects including psychology, theater, gender studies, chemistry, literature, and film studies.

Athletes from Scripps College, Harvey Mudd College, and Claremont McKenna College compete in various sports events under a program called the CMS Athletics. They take part in sports including swimming, water polo, softball, tennis, and baseball.
