Study at Fremont College

Fremont College is a career preparatory institution located in Cerritos, California. The origins of the school trace back to 1879, when Platt College was founded in St. Joseph, Missouri. More than a century later, in 1986, a Lakewood, California campus of Platt was established and three years after that the Lakewood campus became independent. In 1990, the college moved to Cerritos, and in 2004, was renamed Western College. In 2006, the College was acquired by Fremont Private Investments, Inc. and changed its name again, this time to Fremont College. Fremont then underwent a major expansion, relocating to a modern new facility, adding three new degree programs, and establishing an advisory board for each program. The College offers career training and Associate degree programs in fields related to business, paralegal studies, and health and wellness. Points of Distinction
