Study at San Jose State University
San Jose State University, or SJSU, is the founding campus of what later became the California State University system. It was originally established as the California State Normal School by the California Legislature on May 2, 1862 and is the oldest public university in California. SJSU offers more than 60 bachelors degrees with over 80 concentrations, and more than 60 master's degrees with over 25 concentrations. The university is organized into seven colleges and six schools, which are:
