Study at Central Florida Community College


Central Florida Community College, also referred to as CFCC, is a coeducational, community college located in Ocala, Florida, United States. It was established in 1957. Initially, classes were held at Marion County Vocational School. On July 1, 1966, the College merged with Hampton Junior College. The latter opened in the fall of 1958, and was one of the first black, two-year colleges in the state of Florida. On July 1, 1971, the name of the College was changed to Central Florida Community College. The academic departments at CFCC include the following:

The sports teams of the College are known as the Patriots. The students compete in baseball, basketball, softball, and tennis.
