Study at Florida State University


Florida State University or Florida State is a public research university, located in Tallahassee, Florida. It was established in 1851. FSU is ranked 15th nationally in the February 2008 edition of Kiplinger's Best Values in Public Colleges. FSU's main campus covers an area of 489 acres.

The University consists of 16 separate colleges and more than 35 centres, facilities, labs and institutes. FSU offers more than 300 programs of study, including professional programs. It is home to the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art.

The school's athletic teams are called the Seminoles. They participate in the NCAA's Division I and the Atlantic Coastal Conference.
