Albany State University, also known as ASU, is a four-year, state-supported university located in Albany, Georgia, United States. It is part of the University System of Georgia. The university was established in 1903 as Albany Bible and Manual Training Institute. The name was changed to Albany State University in 1996. The campus is spread across an area of 206-acres. ASU offers more than 30 undergraduate degree programs and over 5 advanced degrees. The university is organized into the following academic divisions:

  • College of Science and Health Professions
ASU has an active student and Greek life. The campus is home to more than 55 clubs and organizations. The students actively participate in several sororities and fraternities.
