Brenau University was established in 1878, and is a private women's university situated in Gainesville, Georgia. The campus is spread across an area of 50 acres. It was initially called the Georgia Baptist Female Seminary, and changed to its current name in the year 1992. The university offers associate's, baccalaureate's, and master's degrees in various fields of study includig art and design, humanities, and interior design among others.
