Study at East Central Technical CollegeEast Central Technical College, also referred to as ECTC, was established in 1968 under the name of Ben Hill-Irwin Area Vocational Institute. In 1987, the name of the school was changed to Ben Hill-Irwin Technical Institute. It was again renamed East Central Technical Institute in 1996, and received its present name in the year 2000. The main campus of ECTC is in Fitzgerald, Georgia. Classes are also offered in the Coffee Campus in Douglas, and several other places in Pearson, and Rochelle.
