The Georgia Institute of Technology, also known as Georgia Tech, is a public, coeducational research university in Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 1885, Georgia Institute of Technology - Main Campus occupies a large part of Midtown Atlanta.

The sports teams of Georgia Tech are nicknamed Yellow Jackets and their official mascot is Buzz.
