Valdosta State University, or VSU, is a public university located in the city of Valdosta, Georgia, United States. It is part of the University System of Georgia. The university offers associate, bachelor, master, education specialist, and doctoral degrees in a variety of subjects. It is organized into the following colleges:

VSU's campus is divided into two areas which are the main campus and the north campus. It consists of over 80 buildings that are spread across an area of 168 acres. The Spectator is the independent student run newspaper of the university.

VSU's sports teams are nicknamed the Blazers. They participate in various sports such as baseball, basketball, cross country, football, softball, tennis, and volleyball. The Blazers have won both the 2004 and 2007 NCAA Division II national championship.
