Study at Brigham Young University Idaho Brigham Young University IdahoBrigham Young University - Idaho, also known as BYU–Idaho or BYU–I, is a four-year private college. It is owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is located in Rexburg, Idaho. It was founded in 1888. The main campus is positioned on a hill overlooking the city of Rexburg and the Snake River Valley. It comprises nearly forty major buildings and residence halls, covering over 400 acres. BYU -Idaho has over 35 departments which offer more than 100 bachelor-level programs and associate-degree programs for those over 18. These programs are managed by six colleges:

  • College of Language and Letters
  • College of Performing and Visual Arts

The sports team of BYU- Idaho is known as The Vikings.
