It is owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is located in Rexburg, Idaho. It was founded in 1888. The main campus is positioned on a hill overlooking the city of Rexburg and the Snake River Valley. It comprises nearly forty major buildings and residence halls, covering over 400 acres.
