Study at Evangel University


Evangel University, often referred to as Evangel or abbreviated as EU, is a private, liberal arts university. It is located in Springfield, Missouri, United States, and was founded in 1955, as the Evangel College. On June 8, 1998, the college was granted university status, along with the present name. The university campus spreads across an area of approximately 80 acres of land. Students of Evangel University are offered bachelor's and master's degrees in various streams, including social work, business, humanities, social sciences, theology, physical education, etc.

The official mascot of the sports teams of Evangel University is the Crusader. The students from the university participate in intercollegiate football, basketball, . cross country, track and field, golf, volleyball, baseball and softball. Students of EU are also encouraged in various intramural sports, such as, powder-puff football, volleyball, flag football, soccer and basketball.
