Study at Lewis University


Lewis University is a private Roman Catholic and Lasallian University located in Romeoville, Illinois. It was established in 1932 as the Holy Name Technical School by the Chicago Archdiocese and Bishop Bernard J. Sheil. The university is named after philanthropist Frank J. Lewis. It enrolls more than 5, 000 students every year. Lewis offers over 70 undergraduate majors and programs of study, 20 graduate programs and accelerated programs for working adults. The university is organized into the following academic divisions:

Lewis University is an NCAA Division II school and a member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The sports teams of Lewis University are nicknamed the Flyers.
