Lincoln College is a private, co-educational, liberal arts college situated in Illinois, United States. The college has two campuses known as the Lincoln Campus and the Normal campus. The college was established in 1865 by the Cumberland Presbyterian Church as an institution of higher learning. The Lincoln Campus is the older of the two and is spread across 60 acres. Lincoln College-Normal Campus opened in 1979 and awards bachelor's degrees in arts and science. Students are offered associate's degrees in arts and science, pre-medical programs, nursing program and global studies program at the Lincoln Campus. Lincoln College is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association. The students participate in Division II level athletics. The athletic teams at Lincoln college are nicknamed as the Lynx. Some of the sports in which students participate include soccer, golf, volleyball, basketball, cross country, swimming, wrestling and track.
