Study at Eastern Iowa Community College District


Eastern Iowa Community College District was established in 1965 by the Iowa General Assembly. It was founded as one of 15 community college merged areas. This included the Clinton Junior College, Muscatine Junior College and the vocational technical programs of the Davenport schools.

EICCD comprises three community colleges stretched along the Mississippi River in the State of Iowa. They are:

  • Clinton Community College in Clinton
  • Muscatine Community College in Muscatine
  • Scott Community College in Bettendorf of Scott County
The three colleges offer both college transfer and career technology programs. They enroll more than 7, 000 students each semester. The colleges also offer an online Associate in Arts Degree program in cooperation with the Iowa Community College Online Consortium.

Clinton, Muscatine and Scott Community Colleges are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and the Iowa Junior College Athletic Association.
