Founded in 1945, Roosevelt University, or RU, is a private institution of higher education with campuses in Chicago's Loop and northwest suburban Schaumburg. It also offers classes in various communities, schools, and corporations. RU provides more than 120 doctor's, master's, bachelor's degrees and certificate programs in the fields of arts, sciences, business, and education. The departments and programs are organized into the following colleges:
