Individuals wishing to apply to career training programs at CCNN must undergo a personal interview and tour the campus. The college prefers that someone close to the applicant (e. g. , a parent, spouse, or close friend) also attends the interview. Applicants should also provide proof of High School graduation or GED equivalency and should complete an Application for Enrolment and Enrolment Agreement. Once these steps are taken, the college will review the information and inform the applicant of its decision. Career College of Northern Nevada Faculty Quality The CCNN faculty consists of highly skilled and experienced instructors who are dedicated to each and every student's successful education. Instructors are committed to devoting their time and effort to seeing that student goals are achieved. Approximately one-half of the faculty is employed full-time, and student/faculty ratio is approximately 20 to 1. Career College of Northern Nevada Student Enrolment The Student Enrolment consists of 98% in-state students and a female: male ratio of about 4: 1. Student population is roughly 300, with minorities comprising about 35% of this total. Career College of Northern Nevada Student Life CCNN is a commuter campus which does not offer campus housing but which does feature a student-run newspaper. Students can freely avail themselves of the services of the school's Career Placement Services office, which exists for the purpose of helping graduates obtain employment in their areas of specialization. The office not only assists students in finding their first job, but thereafter provides continued assistance throughout their careers. Refresher career training, at no additional cost, is also offered to graduates who make career changes after their initial employment.
