Study at Rider University


Rider University is a private, co-educational, nonsectarian university located in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. It was founded in 1865 as Trenton Business College. The campus today stretches over more than 300 acres of suburban land. More than 5, 000 students are enrolled in the University every year.

The sports teams of Rider University are known as the Broncos. The men's teams from RU take part in baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, swimming and diving, tennis, track and field and wrestling. The women's teams participate in basketball, field hockey, cross country, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis, track and field and volleyball. The University also has a co-ed cheerleader squad.
