Study at Thomas Edison State College


Thomas Edison State College, or TESC, is a public institution of higher education located in Trenton, New Jersey. It was established in 1972. TESC offers more than ten degrees at the undergraduate level and more than three master degrees in over 100 major Course Topics. The college was named in honor of Thomas Alva Edison, a New Jersey resident.

TESC's main campus is located in Trenton which is adjacent to the New Jersey State House complex and the State House historic district. It consists of five main facilities: the Kelsey Building, the Townhouse Complex, the Academic Center, Kuser Mansion, and the Canal Banks Building.

Some notable alumni of the college include Bonnie Watson Coleman, majority leader of the New Jersey general assembly; Steven L. Herman, foreign correspondent; Brian M. Hughes, current Executive of New Jersey's Mercer County; and Kristina Sisco, actress.
