Study at CUNY City CollegeFounded in 1847, CUNY City College of New York or CCNY is an all-inclusive teaching, research, and service institution, dedicated to accessibility and quality in undergraduate and graduate education. It offers over 150 undergraduate and graduate degrees and programs in different fields of study like education, social sciences, the humanities, science, biomedical education and engineering. It also offers over 12 doctoral programs.The sports teams of CCNY are nicknamed the Beavers. They participate in various sports like Baseball, Volleyball, Basketball, Cross Country, Soccer, Tennis and more. The Beavers have won more than 45 CUNYAC championships since 1966. 2007 marked the centennial of the opening of The City College of New York’s campus on Hamilton Heights in Harlem.
