Study at CUNY Lehman College

Lehman College is one of the constituent colleges of the City University of New York, USA. It was established in 1931 as the Bronx campus of Hunter College and later became an independent college within the City University in 1968. The college is named after Herbert Lehman, a former New York governor, United States senator and philanthropist. The campus is spread over an area of 37 acres.

CUNY Lehman College is a public, coeducational liberal arts college with more than 90 undergraduate and graduate degree programs and specializations. The college is home to the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts, which is a professional theater.

The sports teams of Lehman College actively participate in NCAA, CUNY Athletic Conference, ECAC, Knickerbocker Athletic Conference, Metropolitan Collegiate Swimming Conference, Hudson Valley Men s/ Women s Athletic Conferences, Metropolitan Intercollegiate Men s Volleyball Conference, and the New York State Women s Collegiate Athletic Conference.
