Study at Five Towns CollegeFive Towns College was officially chartered in 1972. Founded as a business college, it finally opened in 1974 in a school building in Merrick, New York. Five Towns College is now situated on a 35-acre campus in Dix Hills, Long Island, New York.Five Towns College offers a large number of associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees. Students can choose from academic programs in the fields of music, fine arts, professional studies, arts, science, and applied science. A large number of clubs and organizations are hosted by Five Towns College. The students are involved in societies such as the Student Government Association, Music Education Club, The Corner Pocket, Caribbean Connect, Latinos Unidos, Hip Hop Club - E.N.S., and Future Film Creators. Five Towns Selectivity Five Towns does not have an open admissions system. Not everyone who applies is accepted. Only 25% of students scored 420 or lower in 2007 on the verbal SAT test. Math SAT scores at the school centered around 410 to 510, but ranged both higher and lower. People attending Five Towns come from a variety of states around the country.
