Applicants to the school are attracted by its Roman Catholic identity. Fordham is a private, not-for-profit institution. Students can earn degrees up to and including the Doctoral degree at the school. Course Topics Fordham is known for its programs in law and family and social work. Fordham Selectivity Admission to the school is not automatic; not everyone who applies gets in. Hats off to the 42% of those who apply who get accepted.
