Study at New York University

New York University is a private, coeducational, nonsectarian research university established in 1831. The university offers enrolment to over 40,000 students in its undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs. It has 16 schools and colleges under it in different centers across Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn. The university also offers study abroad facilities in various places across the globe. Students at NYU can choose from a wide variety of degree and certificate programs in the streams of arts, science, business, fine arts, medicine, nursing, and law.

New York University’s sports teams are known as the Violets. The team colors are "NYU Violet" and white. Sports played at the NCAA level include basketball, cross country, and swimming.
