Buffalo State College, often referred to as Buff State or SUNY College at Buffalo, is a public, liberal arts college in Buffalo, New York. It is part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system. It was originally founded in 1871 as the Buffalo Normal School. The college enrolls more than 8,000 undergraduate and over 2,000 graduate students. SUNY College at Buffalo confers many degrees and certificates in different Course Topics.

The athletics department of the college offers various sports teams that go by the name of Bengals.
