Study at Greensboro College


Greensboro College, or GC, was officially established in 1838. However, its origins can be traced back to the Greensboro Female College that was founded in 1833. The college campus is spread across 80 acres of land in Greensboro, North Carolina. Greensboro College's recent Enrolments have been over 1, 000 students representing more than 30 states and 27 nations. Students at the Greensboro College can choose from over 30 undergraduate majors in the fields of art, music, education, mathematics, and computer science, among others. Master's degrees in arts and education are also awarded. The sports teams of Greensboro College are nicknamed the Pride. The athletics department sponsors around 15 teams in baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, swimming, softball, and volleyball. The teams compete in the USA South Athletic Conference, and the NCAA.
