Pitt Community College is a two-year accredited institution of higher education and technical training school. It is located south of Greenville, North Carolina. It was chartered and designated by the North Carolina State Board of Education as an industrial education center in March, 1961. PCC is a part of the North Carolina Community College System, a state-supported body of over 50 institutions located throughout North Carolina. It has an Enrolment of more than 6, 500 students annually. The college offers over 40 associates degree programs, over 20 diploma programs and more than 15 university transfer programs.
PCC Volleyball competes in the NJCAA's Region X Conference at the Division I level. PCC's sports teams are nicknamed the Bulldogs.
