Study at Randolph Community College


Randolph Community College, also referred to as RCC, was originally established as the Randolph Industrial Education Center in 1962. The name was changed to Randolph Technical Institute in 1965, and again to Randolph Technical College in 1979. It was finally christened the Randolph Community College in 1988. The college sits on a 35-acre campus in Asheboro, North Carolina.

A large number of associate's degrees, certificates, and diploma programs are offered by RCC. Students can opt for courses in the fields of business technology, developmental studies, general education, health occupation, human services, photographic technology, art, and design, and mechanical and industrial technology.

Students of Randolph Community College are members of various clubs and organizations such as the Student Government Organization, Campus Crusaders, Common Threads, Phi Beta Lambda, Phi Theta Kappa, RCC Student Nurse Association and Myths and Makers. In addition, they also publish the on-campus literary magazine called “Uwharrie Dreams”.
