Wingate UniversityWingate University is a liberal arts university located in Wingate, North Carolina. The North Carolina Baptist Association established it as Wingate College in 1896. It became a four-year college in 1977. The university offers more than 40 undergraduate majors, including communications, business management, elementary education, and marketing.
