Dickinson State University, also known as DSU, is a four-year, public university located in Dickinson, North Dakota, United States. It was established as Dickinson State College in 1916. DSU is part of the North Dakota University System. It was granted university status in 1987. DSU offers four-year academic degrees in more than 25 Course Topics through 10 academic departments.

DSU's athletics department sponsors several men's and women's sports teams. They participate in a wide variety of sports including baseball, rodeo, golf, softball, and volleyball.
