Study at Muskingum College


Muskingum College is located in New Concord, Ohio, United States. It was founded in 1837, and the first classes were held on April 24, 1837. Benjamin Waddle was the first president of Muskingum college. The college became coeducational in 1854. The campus encompasses more than 220 acres and includes approximately 21 major buildings. The college's colors are black and magenta. The college offers a number of academic majors, interdisciplinary majors, and pre-professional programs. Muskingum College participates in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III and is a member of the Ohio Athletic Conference. The sports teams are nicknamed the Fighting Muskies. They participate in various sports such as football, women's softball, cross country, baseball, soccer, golf, men's and women's indoor and outdoor track, tennis, women's volleyball, and wrestling.
