Study at Chestnut Hill College


Chestnut Hill College is a co-educational Roman Catholic college located in Chestnut Hill, Pennsylvania. The Sisters of St. Joseph established the school as Mount Saint Joseph College in 1924. It was renamed Chestnut Hill College in 1938. The campus is spread across an area of 45 acres. Chestnut Hill College is organized into the following academic schools:

  • The School of Continuing and Professional Studies
  • The School of Graduate Studies
  • The School of Undergraduate Studies
Chestnut Hill College's athletics department sponsors more than 10 men's and women's sports teams, which are nicknamed the Griffins. The college is a member of NCAA Division II and participates in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.
