Study at Franklin and Marshall College


Franklin and Marshall College, popularly referred to as F&M, was originally founded as the Franklin College in 1787. Marshall College, established in 1836, merged with Franklin College in 1853 to form the Franklin and Marshall College. This four-year co-educational liberal arts institute is based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. F&M's recent Enrolments have been more than 2, 000 students.

Franklin and Marshall College offers a large number of degree programs in the fields of Africana and American studies, art and art history, biology, business, computer science, international studies, physics, music, religious studies, science, technology, and women's and gender studies, among others.

The sports teams of Franklin and Marshall College are nicknamed the Diplomats. The men's and women's teams participate in baseball, basketball, football, golf, cross country, swimming, tennis, squash, lacrosse, soccer, track and field, and wrestling. They are members of the NCAA Division III of varsity sports.
