Study at Haverford College


Haverford College was established as an institute for men in 1833. It was founded by the Orthodox Philadelphia Yearly Meeting members of the Quakers. This private liberal arts college became fully coeducational in 1980. The 216-acre campus of the college is located in Haverford, Pennsylvania. Haverford College's recent Enrolments have been more than 1, 000 students from over 45 states and round 40 countries worldwide every year. Haverford College offers bachelor's degrees in arts and science. More than 30 undergraduate majors are available in the fields of social sciences, humanities, and natural sciences. The athletics department of Haverford College competes in the NCAA Division III of the Centennial Conference. Nicknamed the Fords, the teams participate in baseball, basketball, cricket, fencing, cross country, lacrosse, squash, tennis, track and field, soccer, softball, field hockey, and volleyball.
