Bryant University is a four-year, private university located in Smithfield, Rhode Island, United States. It was established in 1863 as a branch of Bryant and Stratton. Bryant became a non-profit institution in 1949. In 1969, it offered its first masters program. The campus is spread across an area of 420 acres.
