Study at Lincoln Memorial UniversityLincoln Memorial University, also known as LMU, is a private, coeducational, liberal arts institute located in Harrogate, Tennessee, United States. It was founded on February 12, 1897, and named in honor of Abraham Lincoln. The university sits on a 1, 000-acre campus, which was created as a living memorial to Abraham Lincoln. LMU enrolls more than 3, 000 undergraduate and postgraduate students. Lincoln Memorial University offers a large number of undergraduate majors, graduate programs, and online learning courses in the fields of arts and sciences, business, education, humanities, and health services. Students can also opt for classes in any of the university's ten extended sites. LMU's sports teams are known as the Railsplitters. The men's and women's teams participate in baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, softball, and volleyball.
