Weatherford College was founded on July 5, 1869 as the Phoenix Masonic Lodge
school. In June 1889, the name of the school was changed to Weatherford College.
It gained the status of a junior college in 1921. The campus is nestled in an
area of around 90 acres in Weatherford, Texas. Apart from this campus, Weatherford College also has education centres in Mineral Wells and Decatur. WC
offers a number of degrees and certificate programs in diverse Course Topics.
