University of the Virgin Islands, also known as UVI, is a public university located in the United States Virgin Islands. It was established in the year 1962. The university operates two campuses, one in Saint Croix and the other in St. Thomas. The institution was initially established as the College of the Virgin Islands and changed to its current name in the year 1986. UVI is organized into the following academic divisions:
