Western Washington University, or WWU, is one of the state-funded, four-year universities of higher education in Washington, United States. WWU's sports teams are nicknamed the Vikings. The university's mascot is the Viking. WWU is a NCAA Division II member of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. They won the first three GNAC All-Sports Championships and are ranked 31st among the 225 NCAA II schools in the United States.
