West Virginia University at Parkersburg, also known as WVUP, is located in Parkersburg, United States. It was established in 1961 as the Parkersburg Branch of West Virginia University. In 1971, it was renamed to Parkersburg Community College. It gained university status in 1989 and adopted its present name. It is a regional campus of West Virginia University or WVU.
